Under the WA Government COVID-19 Safety Regulations the maximum number of attendees at the Colin Moore Community Centre is limited to 24 people indoors and 56 when using the patio area. In addition all hirers and their guests are required to complete an attendance register so that, in the event of a COVID infection, attendees can be traced and treated. The Colin Moore Community Resource Centre is located at 724 North Beach Road, on the corner of Lagonda Drive and North Beach Road in Gwelup, overlooking the Lake Gwelup Reserve. The building was originally a small house and was refurbished and extended in 1996 and set up for use as a playgroup and party facility. With its children’s play area, sand patch and doll house, it is ideal for holding events for young children.

The house has a main hall, which is carpeted and air conditioned, and a reheat kitchen that opens onto the main hall through a servery. The hall connects to a large patio, which is fenced and covered, by a set of double sliding doors. Adjacent to the patio is a kids’ play area with a small slide, monkey bars and a climbing frame. A number of other kids play items are located within the fenced area.

A small office or consulting room is also available for bookings.

Parking space for 8 cars is provided in front of the building, and further parking can be accommodated on the adjacent road verge.

The hall can be booked for children’s parties or other suitable events on weekends. Early morning, lunch and evening booking times are also available.

Bookings are made on a first come first serve basis. Bookings can be made at any time on line, for any available designated time period, with payment in advance by credit card. Contact the club on rotaryosbpk@gmail.com to enquire about making a booking for a time period that differs from those shown.  Bookings for the small office can be made by contacting Rotary.

Please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions section below for information on keys, facilities available, cleaning, public transport, cancellation and changes, etc.
